The Deadwood rises

The situation in Greymarsh has become dire indeed, heroic individuals are needed to rise to the task of defending it.

Villages in the Southlands have reported sighting hoards of undead, coming from out of the Deadwood.

In addition there are also reports of roving patrols of goblins, orcs and bandits close to the Wizard’s tower.

Bertrum Greymane the fifth hasn't been heard from in two months.

It is imperative that contact is re-established with the hermit-like mad mage.

Find out what is going on with Bertrum and if he is alive

make contact with him, then report back to Greyhold.

The Wizard’s Catacomb is an adventure for Greymarsh (a d6 OSR frpg). 

The contents of the adventure include:

• random tables for overland travel in Greymarsh,
• simple rules for encumbrance slots and PC age,
• some minor details about what has happened since the adventure GMA1 The Lost Tomb (included with the Greymarsh rules)
• a small Catacomb, taking 13 pages or so to describe its seventeen areas to explore (it is encouraged that you add features to this underground lair).
• The Catacomb is provided as a high resolution VTT battlemap for importing into your software of choice. 
• Includes a seperate 28 page booklet outlining Bertrum's Tower

The adventure is easy to convert to other OSR rule systems. It is suggested that mid level adventurers should undertake this quest.
