In the 18th century, parts of the American interior are cloaked in darkness and enigma.

The Thirteen Colonies are characterized by upheaval and change, as settlers carve new paths through dense forests and perilous swamps. In the wilderness, settlers confront the unknown, often clashing with the Tribal inhabitants whose lands they encroach upon. Among the shadowy mountains and concealed caves, whispers of untold wealth and ancient curses abound. The swamps hide more than just creatures; they are repositories of betrayal and lost souls. At the heart of the wilderness, darkness festers, daring even the bravest to face their fears.
